ALBANY, GA – The 2012 Professional Indoor Football League Champion Albany Panthers have announced that the team will be holding an open tryout for all positions at the practice field behind Westside High School located at 2851 Heath Road in Macon, GA, on Saturday, November 10.

Columbus Lions
The next tryout has been set for December 15th 2012 at Callaway Stadium in LaGrange, Georgia. Tryout begins at 9am with registration starting at 8:15am.
Participants can pre-register online by clicking on the pre-registration link at the bottom of the page. The pre-registration fee is $40.00 and should be in the form of a check, money order, or credit card. All registration payments and forms need to be mailed to the Lions office at 400 4th Street, Columbus, GA 31901. Registration the day of the tryout will be $60.00 and will only be accepted in the form of cash or money order (no checks will be accepted). Participants should wear athletic shorts, tennis shoes or cleats for a field turf grass surface. No metal cleats will be permitted. Players will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard short shuttle, and the “L” drill. Following the testing, participants will do position specific drills and 1 on 1’s. The tryout is expected to last 3 hours.

Lehigh Valley Steelhawks
The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks professional indoor football team will be holding their first PIFL open tryout for the 2013 season on November 17th at Iron Lakes Sports Complex, the ofM.Johnson3ficial practice facility for the Steelhawks. Located at 3625 Shankweiler Road, Allentown, PA. Registration and check in begins at 7:30am, with player evaluations will begin at 8am. Cost includes evaluation, drills, and testing by the Steelhawks Professional Coaching Staff, a Steelhawks t-shirt, and 1 ticket voucher to a 2013 game.
On line registration is now available for a cost of $50, at the Steelhawks website, www.lvsteelhawks.com. Cost to register the day of is $60. If any player is staying overnight and needs a hotel room, they may contact the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks Hotel Partner, Comfort Suites in Allentown and ask for the Steelhawks rate of $69.

Richmond Raiders
TRYOUTS TO BE HELD AT THE RICHMOND COLISEUM
The Richmond Raiders professional indoor football team will hold open tryouts for the 2013 season on Saturday, October 20th at the Richmond Coliseum. Registration begins at 2:30 PM and ends promptly at 3:00 PM. Players should be prepared to participate in a variety of drills including short shuttle, timed 40 yards for skill positions, timed 20 yards for offensive and defensive linemen, and one on one drills.
The cost to try out is $50 per person in advance online and $55 the day of camp. No checks will be accepted. Tryouts will be led by Raiders Head Coach James Fuller. Coach Fuller led the Raiders to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the PIFL Championship Game in 2012. Participants must be 18 years of age and able to provide proof of birth date. This is a professional tryout and participants will no longer be eligible to participate in NCAA sanctioned football should they participate in testing.
The tryouts will be open to the public. The Coliseum Club will be open before and during tryouts, and Raider coaches and ownership will host a question and answer session there at 2:00. Season tickets and Raider merchandise will be on sale, and ticket holders will be able to choose their seats.
