Albany Panthers
ALBANY, Georgia – The 2011 Champion Albany Panthers are wasting no time in building another championship-caliber team under the direction of head football coach Lucious Davis, and will hold its second open tryout Saturday, January 21,2012 at Titus Sports Academy in Tallahassee, Florida. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with the tryout starting at Noon.
“The open tryout is a great opportunity to find a diamond in the rough. Arguably some of the greatest players to play Arena Football were found at an open tryout,” said head football coach Lucious Davis. “Not only will we be looking for talent but we will be teaching the arena game, spreading awareness of this amazing game.”
Registration fee for all trying out will be $50 and due at the registration table prior to participating in the work out. The registration fee is non-refundable, and only cash will be accepted as a form of payment.
In addition to the registration fee, all participants will need to bring cleats to wear on a field turf surface, and other proper athletic attire for the outdoors. The tryout will consist of testing that includes the 40-yard dash and 20-yard short shuttle followed by specific arena football drills.
“Over 90 % of your collegiate rosters nationwide have at least two or three athletes from the state of Florida,” said General Manager Will Carter. “I am looking forward to finding those gems at our workout in Tallahassee, FL.”

Felines Dance Team Tryouts set for January 28th
November 29, 2011 Albany, GA — The Albany Panthers will host their dance team tryouts for the upcoming season on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
All interested dancers will need to meet at the Albany James H. Gray Civic Center located at 100 W. Oglethorpe Albany, GA 31702 for registration at 11 a.m.
“I’m very excited about the new year,” says Elizabeth Faircloth, the Director of Community Development of the Panthers. “A new year brings a new attitude...a positive one.”
Tryouts will begin at 12 p.m. and last tentatively until 5.p.m. dancers are required to be dressed appropriately wearing form fitted clothing and prepared to compete; proper dance shoes and make-up is mandatory. Knoxville NightHawks
The Knoxville Nighthawks announced they will be holding an open tryout on Saturday October 22nd at Farragut High School football field with registration starting at 8:30 am and testing following starting at 9:00. Time - Registration will begin at 8:30 am and the tryout will start 9:00 am. KICKERS need to register at 8:30am with everyone else, but the kicker tryout will begin around 11am.

We will then have position drills for all positions, and 1-on-1’s and 4-on-4 for the skilled positions.
Louisiana Swashbucklers
The Louisiana Swashbucklers will conduct tryouts for the 2012 Firstmates Team on Saturday, September 10th beginning at 11 a.m.
The tryouts will be preceded by two clinics scheduled for Thursday, September 8th, and Friday September 9th, from 8-10 p.m. The clinics and tryouts will be held at Guzzy’s gymnastics, located at 3402 5th Avenue in Lake Charles.
The tryouts will consist of a cheer, dance, and jumps. Firstmates perform at all Swashbuckler home games and Playoff home games. They also participate in appearances throughout the season as well as photo sessions.
Applicants are open to all ladies 21 years or older. Applications can be picked up at Huddle Up Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Charles or at our office located on the 2nd floor of the Lake Charles Civic Center.
