| By: Mo Collins Charlotte Speed Indoor Football General Manager CHARLOTTE, NC (September 24, 2012) - On Sunday, October 7, 2012 The Charlotte Speed will begin hosting open tryouts. The first will take place at the Revolution Park Football Field in Charlotte, NC. On Sunday, October 14th the open tryout will take place at Wilkerson Mill Park in Palmetto, GA. Then on Sunday October 21, 2012 The Speed will wrap up the open tryouts at Daskyll Stadium in Fayetteville, NC.  Representatives from both The Speed’s front office and coaching staff will be present at these open tryouts. Players will be evaluated on and not limited to the following, 40 yard dash, pro-short shuttle, position drills, and one on one’s. The plan is to offer a minimum of two contracts at each open tryout. Tryouts are open to anyone over the age of 18 who has completed high school and is currently not under contract by any professional team. You must complete a tryout packet located on our website and pay a registration fee of $60.00. Tryout times, locations and dates are listed below.
