By: Stephen Martin RICHMOND, VA (June 21, 2012) - The number-two seed Richmond Raiders (10-2) host the number-three seed Louisiana Swashbucklers (6-6) on Monday, June 25 at 7 pm, at the Richmond Coliseum in a semi-final playoff of the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL). The game will be the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce night with food and drink specials along with $5 merchandise discount coupon giveaways for the first 300 people through the door. Richmond is tied with the Albany Panthers for first place in league standings. This will be the third meeting of Richmond and Louisiana in 2012. The Swashbucklers won 47-45 on their home field in Lake Charles on April 21, and Richmond, undefeated at home, returned the favor two weeks later with a 50-43 victory at the Coliseum. When the two teams meet again, Richmond will be coming off a win over the top-seed Albany Panthers, a thrilling contest that culminated with a field goal by Richmond kicker T. C. Stevens as the game clock expired, pushing the final score to 67-66 Richmond. The Swashbucklers also won on Saturday, defeating the Alabama Hammers 75 to 70.
